Augmentus nets $11m to scale no-code robotics for manufacturing

Singapore-based robotics firm Augmentus has raised US$11 million in a series A+ funding round.

This funding will improve its autonomous robotic systems for surface finishing and welding, support regional expansion, and further research into adaptive AI-driven robotics for manufacturing.

The funding round was led by Woori VP, with contributions from new investor EDBI, as well as returning investors Sierra Ventures and Cocoon Capital.

Augmentus plans to use the capital to meet increasing demand and scale its operations across the Asia Pacific and North America.

Augmentus specializes in no-code robotics, integrating industrial 3D scanning, AI-driven path planning, and motion control.

These solutions aim to reduce programming time and facilitate the automation of tasks that traditionally require significant human oversight.

The company’s technology is currently deployed in over six countries, including Australia, Germany, and the United States.
