ASML is maintaining its business operations in China, despite restrictions on advanced process technology.

The announcement was made at the China International Import Expo on Tuesday.

The Dutch technology company is focusing on mature process technologies for manufacturing mainstream chips, given the limitations on cutting-edge processes.

Sales from mainland China contributed to 47% of ASML’s global revenue in the third quarter, as per the company’s financial report.
