Cryptocurrency-related stocks in Asia experienced a decline on Feb. 4, as broader market worries impacted the region.

In Japan, Metaplanet, which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, saw its shares drop by 9.44%, closing at 4,460 yen (US$28,81).

Regionally, the Nikkei 225 in Japan fell by 2.66%, while South Korea’s Kospi index declined by 2.52%.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index remained nearly unchanged, and the Shanghai stock market was closed for a holiday.

These declines followed concerns regarding potential tariff increases from the US, stemming from President Donald Trump’s policies.
