AppsFlyer nears sale valuing company up to $3b

AppsFlyer, an Israeli analytics firm, is in the final stages of a sale process with bids valuing the company at US$2.7 billion to US$3 billion.

The sale is being managed by Goldman Sachs, with private equity firms including Israel’s Fortissimo Capital and US-based Apollo Global Management among the bidders.

AppsFlyer develops tools to measure and analyze ad campaigns on mobile and digital platforms.

Founded in 2011, the company has 1,300 employees across 20 offices worldwide, and reported annual revenue of about US$400 million.

If bids fall below the US$2.7 billion threshold, AppsFlyer is expected to cancel the sale.

Sources say four funds have entered the data room and are competing in the process.

Final bids are due by the end of this week.
