Apple is working with AI startup Anthropic PBC on an AI-powered coding platform called “vibe-coding.”

The tool is an updated version of Xcode and uses Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet model to help programmers write, edit, and test code. It includes a chat interface for code requests, UI testing, and bug management.

The platform is currently being tested internally, and Apple has not yet decided whether to release it to external developers.
