Apple has released software updates for iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, and macOS Sequoia 15.3, enabling its AI system, Apple Intelligence, by default on compatible devices.

Previously, users needed to manually activate Apple Intelligence, but now it activates automatically during device setup or updates.

Users who prefer not to use this feature can disable it through the settings menu.

The updates also disable AI-generated summaries for news apps due to accuracy concerns.

The Apple Intelligence system remains in beta and is available in select English-speaking markets.
