Singapore-based AnyMind Group, a business-process-as-a-service company for marketing, ecommerce, and digital transformation, said on September 24 that it had entered an agreement with Alibaba Cloud.

The partnership will integrate Qwen into AnyLive, its AI-powered live commerce platform, to improve how AI avatars respond to shopper questions across Asia.

AnyMind said Qwen, a family of large language and multimodal AI models developed by Alibaba, would be added to AnyLive’s multi-model architecture.

The integration will help the platform interpret customer intent, including ambiguous or conversational questions, and generate more natural and relevant replies in Asian languages during livestreams.

The companies said the integration was designed to improve language fluency, the use of honorifics, and the AI avatars’ understanding of local cultural nuances.

They did not disclose financial terms or say when the rollout would begin.
