Anthropic PBC is on pace to generate more than US$65 billion in annualized revenue after its run rate reached that level at the end of July, according to people familiar with the matter.

Anthropic’s revenue run rate topped US$9 billion in late 2025 and passed US$47 billion in May, the people said.

The company also generated preliminary revenue of more than US$11.5 billion in its latest completed quarter, up from US$787 million in the corresponding period in 2025, based on documents reviewed.

Anthropic posted positive adjusted operating income for the quarter, the people said.

Anthropic and OpenAI have also confidentially filed paperwork to go public, with Anthropic potentially debuting as soon as this fall, ahead of OpenAI.

OpenAI’s revenue run rate recently exceeded US$40 billion, though the two companies may not measure the metric the same way.
