Anthropic is pitching Claude for Financial Advisors, a version of its chatbot linked to portfolio analytics and risk-management tools from BlackRock, Vanguard, and other firms, as the company expands into financial services.

The product follows Anthropic’s earlier finance AI agents and can also connect with tools from Charles Schwab and iCapital.

It extends the finance push that the company signaled with a May 5, 2026, page titled “Agents for financial services.”

Anthropic said Claude would help financial advisers with research, administrative work, and portfolio oversight, while investment decisions would remain with advisers and clients.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, or FINRA, has guidance on AI and included generative AI in its 2026 oversight report.
