Anthropic, Microsoft execs back Israeli startup Brava

Israeli cybersecurity startup Brava Security has raised US$15 million in seed funding led by Pitango and F2, with participation from private investors, including senior executives from Anthropic, Microsoft, and Check Point.

Founded in 2024 by CEO Idan Basre and CTO Itay Gabbay, Brava said its AI agents generate the telemetry, or digital traces, that cyberattacks would leave behind without carrying them out.

The platform then tests whether a company’s defenses detect that evidence and helps fix gaps in logging, data pipelines, and detection rules.

Brava said its customers include Fortune 100 companies in retail, energy, and hospitality, as well as Cushman & Wakefield and WELL Health.

The company said the funding will support product development and expansion in North America.
