Ant International, a digital payment and financial technology provider based in Singapore, has opened its first office in the Middle East.

The new office aims to improve collaboration with local payment ecosystem partners, providing financial and digital payment services, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises in Saudi Arabia.

Later this year, the company plans to launch its payment solution, Antom, in Saudi Arabia.

This service will facilitate e-commerce and assist local merchants by enabling acceptance of payments in over 100 currencies and integration with various payment methods, including digital wallets and credit cards.

Ant International operates in 200 markets worldwide, serving 90 million merchants with its financial and digital solutions. The Middle East is recognized as a significant strategic market for the company.
