Ant Group launches trillion-parameter open-source model
Ant Group has released Ring-1T-preview, an open-source AI model with over a trillion parameters, on Hugging Face.
Ring-1T-preview is designed for natural language reasoning, and is the first open-source model of its size focused on this task.
The model scored 92.6 on the AIME 2025 test, outperforming other open-source models and Gemini 2.5 Pro, and nearing GPT-5’s 94.6 score.
Ring-1T-preview also achieved top rankings on CodeForces, LiveCodeBench, and ARC-AGI-v1 benchmarks, based on company data.
The model uses the Ling-2.0 Mixture-of-Experts architecture and was pretrained on over 20 trillion tokens.
