Ant Group has announced plans to connect 280,000 doctors on the Haodf healthcare platform that it acquired last year with 800 million healthcare users on its Alipay app.

At Haodf’s annual conference in Shanghai, Ant Group’s president Cyril Han and Haodf founder Hang Wang also introduced the AI doctor assistant, designed to help doctors manage patient education and medical records efficiently.

Ant Group claims it has connected users to services at 3,600 hospitals for over a decade.
