Blockchain gaming firm Animoca Brands has invested in The Open Network (TON), a Web3 ecosystem integrated with messaging app Telegram. Animoca has also become the largest validator of the TON Blockchain.

Following the deal, Animoca will support TON’s gaming projects such as TON Play, which aims to launch Web3-based games directly on Telegram.
