Amazon slashes seller fees on low-cost clothing to compete with Shein
Amazon plans to reduce seller fees for clothing under US$20. Starting January, products priced under US$15 will have a 5% commission rate, while those priced between US$15 and US$20 will have a 10% fee, both down from a 17% rate.
The move signals Amazon’s intent to compete with Chinese low-cost fashion retailer Shein.
