Amazon has introduced agentic AI features for its Seller Assistant tool, aiming to automate and enhance how sellers operate on its platform.

The updated Seller Assistant, built on Amazon Bedrock and using models from Anthropic Claude, is beginning to offer proactive support, such as inventory optimization, account health monitoring, and regulatory compliance alerts.

Amazon said the tool can recommend actions like marking down slow-moving products or adjusting inventory to avoid long-term storage fees.

The AI also analyzes demand patterns and provides shipment recommendations to help sellers reduce excess inventory and prevent stockouts.
