Amazon, Prosus sign AI, cloud deal for cost savings

Prosus NV has signed a three-year agreement with Amazon Web Services to consolidate its cloud and AI services, resulting in double-digit cost savings, according to the company.

The deal involves collaboration between Prosus’s AI team and Amazon’s specialists to develop applications and deploy AI agents across its businesses.

Prosus plans to expand its AI capabilities in Europe, India, and Latin America, aiming to double its value by 2028.

The company is investing about US$100 million annually in AI talent and infrastructure.

This partnership also allows Prosus to use Amazon’s data centers and infrastructure in various regions.
