Seven major AI companies, including Amazon, Google’s parent company Alphabet, Meta, and Microsoft, will launch voluntary safeguards to decrease abuse and bias within AI technologies after a transparency and security pledge. The measures, presented at the White House, include testing new AI systems externally and internally before their release and watermarking AI-generated content.
