Amazon to invest $35b in India by 2030
Amazon will invest over US$35 billion in India by 2030, expanding its presence across AI, infrastructure, and logistics.
The US tech giant said the funds will support business growth, job creation, and digital transformation, building on nearly US$40 billion invested in India to date.
Amazon said it plans to create 1 million jobs and boost cumulative exports from India to US$80 billion by 2030.
The company also aims to provide AI tools and education to 15 million small businesses and 4 million students.
Amazon has built fulfilment centers, transport networks, and data centers in India while digitizing over 12 million small businesses and enabling US$20 billion in exports so far.
