Amazon introduces Whole Foods Market products to SG

Amazon is introducing about 300 Whole Foods Market private-label products to Singapore, marking the first time these items are available outside the US, Canada, and the UK.

The 365 by Whole Foods Market goods will be offered through Amazon’s Fresh delivery service and local retailer Little Farms.

Whole Foods, owned by Amazon since 2017, has no physical stores in Singapore.

The company plans to expand its private-label sales into additional markets, but did not name specific countries.

Whole Foods has around 535 stores, up from 460 at the time of Amazon’s acquisition.

Amazon recently consolidated its grocery operations, now under the leadership of Jason Buechel, CEO of Whole Foods since 2022.

Whole Foods offers about 4,000 private-label products across several brands, including 365, Whole Foods Market exclusive, and Whole Paws.
