Amazon announces Bee AI wearables for chat to-dos
Amazon has announced Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse, AI devices that turn conversations into summaries, reminders, and to-dos.
Frontier can be worn on the wrist or clipped to clothing. Eclipse attaches magnetically to a phone.
Bee, a personal AI hardware startup that Amazon said on July 22, 2025 it planned to buy, developed the devices.
Frontier is available now for US$74.99. Eclipse is coming soon and will start at US$99.99.
Bee Pro costs US$11.99 a month. It includes integrations with Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, Alexa+, and Amazon.com.
Conversation summaries, recaps, and 14-day memory are included with purchase.
Amazon said audio is never stored. The devices also have microphone controls and indicator lights.
Users are prompted to get call participants’ permission when starting a recording.
AI wearables have raised concerns about bystander consent and state two-party consent laws.
The devices enter an AI gadget market where Rabbit R1 and Humane’s AI Pin raced to define a new hardware category.
