Alphabet’s Isomorphic Labs eyes up to $50b valuation: sources

London-based Isomorphic Labs, an Alphabet-owned company that uses AI for drug discovery, is in early talks to raise fresh funding at a valuation of at least US$40 billion and possibly as high as US$50 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.

The financing has not closed, and the terms may change.

The company raised US$2.1 billion in a series B round five months ago.

Founded in 2021 out of DeepMind, Isomorphic’s 2024 collaborations with Eli Lilly and Novartis were reported at nearly US$3 billion in combined potential value.

The company also plans to design and develop drugs in-house.

A 2025 report said Isomorphic was preparing to launch trials for AI-designed drug candidates.
