Alphabet seen as top AI-driven company by market value

Alphabet’s market cap remains just under US$3 trillion, making it the world’s fourth-largest company after Nvidia, Microsoft, and Apple.

The stock is up over 30% in 2025, outpacing the Nasdaq 100 Index’s 17% rise.

MoffettNathanson analyst Michael Nathanson raised his price target for Alphabet to US$295, citing its AI leadership and diversified business.

Investor optimism is fueled by Alphabet’s advances in multimodal search, generative AI products, and easing regulatory risks from a recent court ruling.

Alphabet’s Q2 earnings showed strong AI demand, with shares up 70% since April 2025 despite a 0.9% dip in premarket trading September 26, 2025.
