Allianz Partners, an insurance and assistance firm, said on July 21 that it had partnered with Singapore-based travel connectivity company Travelgoogoo.

The partnership gives eligible travel insurance customers in Asia Pacific access to the Travelgoogoo365 Annual Plan, including membership in the Travelgoogoo eSIM Travel Club.

The membership includes unlimited messaging and data-based voice calls on messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, LINE, Telegram, WeChat, Viber, and Zalo across 123 destinations.

Members can also buy high-speed travel data at member rates.

As part of the launch offer, eligible Allianz customers will receive a complimentary 1GB Global Starter Data Pack for a limited period.

The companies also said they would explore deeper integration and additional services for customers.

Travelgoogoo said the partnership supports Allianz Partners’ effort to expand its travel services beyond insurance.

Allianz Partners said it is a business-to-business (B2B)-to-consumer insurance and assistance provider operating globally, in 75 countries, and handling more than 72.5 million cases each year.

As with other travel eSIM products, usage may depend on handset compatibility and coverage in each destination.
