Alipay, Ant Group’s payments app in China, said on September 11 that it plans to launch an AI wallet agent to help users manage AI payments as it upgrades its AI payment system.

The company said “AI Collect” has added three capabilities, Vibe Pay, Skill Pay, and Machine Pay, for uses including AI app creation, skill monetization, and machine-to-machine connections.

The update comes amid reports that China has introduced “Know Your Agent” rules for AI payments and issued broader AI rules covering AI agents, though the available material did not detail specific requirements.
