China-based robotics startup MagicLab entered an exclusive agreement with AliExpress to join the platform’s Brand+ overseas expansion program, making AliExpress its first international cross-border ecommerce platform partner.

AliExpress launched Brand+ in September 2024 and has since signed brands including Xiaomi, Honor, Anker, Li-Ning, and Pop Mart.

MagicLab, founded in January 2024, develops embodied AI robots, including humanoid robots and bionic quadrupeds, for industrial, commercial, and household use.

The company raised 150 million yuan (US$22.2 million) in an angel round as it prepared for mass production.

MagicLab said its near-term focus was on industrial and commercial settings such as factories and retail stores, while its public materials did not mention any existing overseas retail channels.
