Alibaba’s Qwen AI app records 10 million downloads in debut

Alibaba said its Qwen AI app reached over 10 million downloads within a week of its relaunch.

The company, based in China and known for its ecommerce platforms, unified several existing apps under the Qwen name on iOS and Android.

Alibaba plans to add more AI features to Qwen, including tools to help users shop on its Taobao marketplace.

Shares in Alibaba rose over 5% in Hong Kong after the announcement.
