Alibaba unveils Qwen3.6-Plus for enterprise AI

Alibaba has released Qwen3.6-Plus, a new model in its Qwen large language model series, to support enterprise “agentic” AI use cases such as coding and multimodal reasoning.

The company said it will integrate the model into its products, including Wukong, its AI enterprise platform, and the Qwen App.

Alibaba said Qwen3.6-Plus supports a 1 million-token context window by default and can plan, test, and iterate on code for repository-level engineering, as well as analyze images, documents, and video.

The model is available through Alibaba Cloud’s Model Studio and Qwen Chat, and Alibaba said it works with third-party coding tools such as OpenClaw, Claude Code, and Cline.

Selected Qwen3.6 models will continue to support the open-source community.
