Alibaba released Meoo Team on July 18 at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, saying it is an enterprise AI application creation platform for managing identities, procurement and quotas, permissions, and shared team assets.

According to Alibaba, Meoo Team’s core features include unified identity management, unified procurement and quota control, fine-grained permission management, and team asset sharing.

The company said the platform is designed to address enterprise AI creation issues such as resource coordination, permission allocation, and asset ownership, and improve collaboration for teams in ecommerce, content creation, production and operations, marketing, finance, and education.

The launch adds to Alibaba’s broader enterprise AI software push, which already includes Bailian, an enterprise agent development and operations platform that sits between Tongyi models and cloud infrastructure.

Rivals are also focusing on similar governance features. Microsoft’s Copilot Studio supports data loss prevention and lets administrators disable publishing for agents that use generative AI features.
