Alibaba.com expects all sellers to use AI by 2025
Alibaba.com, the wholesale platform of Alibaba Group, expects all sellers to adopt its AI tools by 2025, according to its president, Zhang Kuo.
More than half of the 200,000 merchants on Alibaba.com already use these tools weekly for marketing, product management, customer interactions, and risk control.
The AI push supports Alibaba’s strategy to expand cross-border ecommerce operations.
As part of this effort, Alibaba plans to allocate 380 billion yuan (US$52.3 billion) over three years to enhance its cloud computing and AI infrastructure.
