AI tools startup Co-one bags $1.11m pre-series A
Co-one, a company specializing in AI integration solutions, has raised €1 million (US$1.11 million) in a pre-series A funding round.
Investors include Ak Portföy, DOMiNO Ventures, Maxis Innovative Fund, TechOne Venture Capital, and Leap Investments.
This round increases Co-one’s valuation by 1.5 times compared to its previous €640,000 (US$712,864) raise.
The company offers tools like Agentic Suite and Data OS. These help enterprises in e-commerce, banking, and other sectors build AI agents using unstructured data.
The new funding will support Co-one’s expansion into Türkiye, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Western Europe. It will also boost research and development in AI and data infrastructure.

🧠 Food for thought
1️⃣ Co-one’s funding comes amid historic AI investment surge despite broader market caution
Co-one’s €1 million raise should be viewed in the context of an extraordinary AI funding environment where investors are highly selective about where they place their bets.
In 2024, global AI investments surged 62% to $110 billion while overall startup funding declined 12% across all sectors, highlighting the dramatic investor preference for AI technologies 1.
This funding disparity has reshaped the venture landscape, with AI now accounting for nearly one-third (33%) of all global venture capital deployment, marking the highest funding year for the sector in a decade 2.
Co-one’s ability to secure funding and increase valuation by 1.5x demonstrates investor confidence in its specific approach to enterprise AI integration, particularly notable as investors increasingly prioritize sustainable business models and profitability over pure growth 3.
The company’s pre-Series A stage is also significant as funding data shows a broader stagnation in seed and early-stage investments, with capital increasingly concentrated in later-stage AI companies like Databricks ($10B) and OpenAI ($6.6B) 4.
2️⃣ Geographic expansion strategy faces uneven AI funding landscape
Co-one’s planned expansion into Turkiye, MENA, and Western Europe comes amidst significant regional disparities in AI investment activity that could impact growth opportunities.
North America, particularly the United States, dominates the global AI funding landscape, accounting for 42% of all AI venture capital compared to just 25% in European markets, creating potential challenges for companies seeking funding outside the US 3.
