AI companies dominated global venture funding in Q3 2025, raising 46% of the US$97 billion total, according to Crunchbase.

Anthropic led AI funding with US$13 billion, accounting for 29% of all global venture capital in the quarter.

Other notable AI funding rounds included US$5.3 billion for xAI and US$2 billion for Mistral AI.

OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, reportedly reached a US$500 billion valuation, becoming the world’s most valuable private company.

US-based companies drew US$60 billion of global venture capital, while hardware raised US$16.2 billion and healthcare/biotech secured US$15.8 billion.
