MarqVision, an AI-powered brand protection platform, has secured an additional US$16 million in funding from Altos Ventures, Y Combinator, and Quantum Light.

It boosts its total Series A funding to US$36 million.

The funding comes as global counterfeiting and piracy market has surged past US$2 trillion annually, reflecting an increase of over 115% within the last eight years.

Research from MarqVision reveals that over 70% of consumers unknowingly buy counterfeit goods, underscoring the need for brand protection solutions.
