AI startup Cognition buys Windsurf, days after Google deal
Cognition AI has announced its acquisition of Windsurf, a provider of integrated development environments (IDEs), under a definitive agreement signed on July 14, 2025.
The deal includes Windsurf’s intellectual property, product portfolio, trademark, and brand.
