AI recruiting startup Mercor lands $100m at $2b valuation

Mercor, a San Francisco-based startup specializing in AI for hiring, has raised US$100 million in its latest funding round.

This investment values the company at US$2 billion and was led by Felicis, with participation from General Catalyst, DST Global, Benchmark, and Menlo Ventures.

This valuation marks a substantial increase from its US$250 million valuation in September 2024.

Notable past investors in Mercor include Peter Thiel, Jack Dorsey, and Larry Summers.

Founded in 2023, Mercor reports profitability with projected revenue of US$7 million and a profit of US$1 million for February 2025, according to CEO Brendan Foody.
