ExcelScale, an AI infrastructure platform, launched in Malaysia on August 20.

The company said its service gives organizations access to more than 100 AI models through a single OpenAI-compatible API.

The company said the platform targets Malaysian organizations expanding AI use across software development, research, content production, data analysis, and internal workflows.

It allows organizations to work with multiple AI providers through a single integration.

ExcelScale said technical teams can use models for text generation, visual recognition, voice synthesis, video creation, and data analysis without rebuilding integrations for each provider.

Features include access controls, API key management, configurable model permissions, Virtual Private Cloud deployment options, usage monitoring, and a dashboard for tracking API requests, token consumption, and costs.

The launch comes as Malaysia has guidelines on cross-border personal data transfers, a compliance issue for AI services that send data to infrastructure outside the country.
