AI roles are the fastest-growing jobs in the United States, according to LinkedIn’s “Jobs on the Rise” report released this week.

The report analyzed job titles from LinkedIn profiles between January 1, 2022, and July 31, 2024, showing a significant increase in AI positions.

Leading the ranking is the role of AI engineer, followed by AI consultant.

Other notable positions include physical therapist, workforce development manager, and travel adviser.

As of November 2024, job postings for AI-related positions have increased by 59% since January 2024.

States like California, Washington, and Texas have been identified as hotspots for these roles, according to research from the University of Maryland and LinkUp.
