The company aims to strengthen studio partnerships and expand its user base in markets like Vietnam and Thailand.

Felicity currently operates in India, Türkiye, and now Singapore, and is targeting further growth through intellectual property acquisitions and partnerships with regional developers.

🧠 Food for thought

1️⃣ Mobile-first gaming companies can achieve rapid regional scale with focused execution

Felicity’s expansion timeline demonstrates how quickly modern gaming companies can build momentum in today’s mobile-dominated landscape.

Founded in 2023, the company has already achieved over $1 million in annual recurring revenue and 1 million downloads across its top titles “Seek & Find” and “Nova Solitaire”1. Within less than a year of launch, they attracted over one million monthly users across 14 countries2.

This rapid scaling aligns with Southeast Asia’s mobile gaming structure, where mobile games account for 72% of the total gaming market3. The region’s smartphone-first approach to gaming creates opportunities for publishers to reach large audiences quickly without the infrastructure requirements of console or PC gaming.

Felicity’s proprietary framework for rapid prototyping and testing of casual games2 appears designed to capitalize on this mobile-first environment, allowing them to test and iterate quickly in a market segment that favors speed to market over lengthy development cycles.

2️⃣ Vietnam and Thailand represent high-value expansion targets for mobile game publishers

Felicity’s strategic focus on Vietnam and Thailand reflects these markets’ substantial growth potential and structural advantages for mobile gaming companies.

Vietnam’s gaming industry alone is projected to reach $922.8 million by 2027, with mobile games representing the largest segment and smartphone penetration exceeding 84%4. The country also shows strong infrastructure development with gaming industry revenue projected at approximately $493 million5.
