Taiwan’s exports surged 56% year-on-year to US$64.1 billion in November, marking the fastest monthly growth since May 2010, the finance ministry said.

Exports to the US jumped 182.3% to US$24.4 billion, while exports to China rose 16.5%. Electronic component exports grew 29.3% to US$21.6 billion.

Imports rose 45% to US$48.0 billion, topping expectations.

The finance ministry expects December exports to rise 40% to 45% from a year earlier but noted global economic uncertainty and geopolitical risks.

Major Taiwanese firms—including TSMC, which supplies Nvidia and Apple—continue to play a key role in global tech supply chains.
