AI cloud startup raises $82m for US data center
AI cloud startup, GMI Cloud, has raised US$82 million in Series A funding to enhance its cloud infrastructure and support the growing demand for advanced AI solutions.
The funding round includes US$15 million in equity and US$67 million in debt, led by Headline Asia with contributions from Banpu Next and Wistron Corporation.
The company plans to use the funds to establish a data center in Colorado.
This expansion aims to strengthen GMI Cloud’s capacity to offer AI infrastructure through NVIDIA’s accelerated computing platforms.
