US AI chipmaker Ambiq joins Singapore Exchange

Ambiq, a semiconductor company making ultra-low-power chips for edge AI, said on July 30 that it had listed on the Mainboard of Singapore Exchange under the ticker AMQ, alongside its New York Stock Exchange listing.

The company began trading in New York on July 30, 2025, under the ticker AMBQ after pricing an upsized initial public offering at US$24 per share. The offering was expected to raise gross proceeds of US$96 million.

Ambiq described the SGX move as a dual listing. The announcement did not mention any new shares or capital raised.

The listing comes as Singapore has sought to streamline disclosure requirements for primary and secondary listings to attract more growth companies.
