Agentic AI rises in SG, but most employees lack skills: report
A new report from NTUC LearningHub finds most Singapore business leaders are exploring, testing, or have limited deployment of Agentic AI, but both leaders and employees lack familiarity and skills with the technology.
NTUC LearningHub, a Singapore-based workforce training provider, surveyed 150 business leaders and 300 full-time working professionals for its white paper on Agentic AI in the workplace.
The report shows 75% of leaders say their companies are at some stage of Agentic AI adoption, yet 48% of leaders and 83% of employees are unfamiliar with the technology.
70% of leaders and 83% of employees also report low skill levels in working with Agentic AI systems.
About six in ten leaders admit their organizations do not understand the impact of Agentic AI on daily operations.
Despite this, 73% of employees are open to training, and 62% of leaders plan to send staff for Agentic AI courses in the next two years.
