Adobe said on June 18 that it expanded its creative agent across Firefly and Creative Cloud, adding new tools in the Firefly web app and public betas for Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, and Frame.io.

The update lets users enter text prompts to trigger multi-step tasks.

These include creating brand kits, short product videos, storyboards, videos from storyboards, and production work such as batch-renaming clips, resizing assets, and updating layouts.

The assistant builds on a concept Adobe previewed at MAX in 2025 as Project Moonlight.

The company has not disclosed pricing for Firefly AI Assistant in those announcements.

Adobe said users had generated more than 6.5 billion images with Firefly by April 2024.

Adobe has also said its Firefly models were trained only on content it had rights to use.

Adobe also previewed an updated Firefly creative AI studio in private beta.

It said its tools are available on platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft 365 Copilot, with connectors for Google Gemini and Slack planned.

Adobe has separately said AI features are helping customers pay for higher-tier plans and buy standalone Firefly products.
