Adobe to acquire software provider Semrush for $1.9b
Adobe has agreed to acquire Semrush in an all-cash deal valued at around US$1.9 billion, or US$12.00 per share.
Semrush, based in Boston, provides brand visibility and search engine optimization software for marketers.
The boards of both companies have approved the transaction, which is expected to close in the first half of 2026, pending regulatory and shareholder approvals.
Adobe said it has commitments from Semrush’s founders and other major shareholders supporting the deal.
The acquisition is intended to expand Adobe’s offerings for marketers as generative AI platforms change digital brand visibility.
