Accenture, Anthropic team up to scale enterprise genAI

Accenture and Anthropic have expanded their partnership to help enterprises scale generative AI deployments beyond pilot programs.

They are establishing a dedicated Accenture Anthropic Business Group focused on Anthropic’s Claude AI models.

About 30,000 Accenture employees will be trained to use Claude, aiming to build one of the largest pools of practitioners for this AI system.

Accenture also plans to use Claude Code, Anthropic’s AI coding tool, for its developers and offer new services to help CIOs track AI adoption and productivity.

The partnership targets regulated industries such as financial services, life sciences, healthcare, and the public sector, where security and governance are key concerns.

Accenture will integrate Claude into its innovation hubs and co-invest with Anthropic in a Claude Center of Excellence to develop AI offerings tailored to enterprise, industry, and regulatory needs.
