Arivihan, a Bengaluru-based AI tutoring startup, said on September 30 that it raised US$10 million in a series A round from existing investors Accel and Prosus Ventures, and an additional US$200,000 from GSF angel investors.

The company plans to use the funding to expand in India and add language support.

Arivihan said it will use the capital to enter more states, expand in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Bihar, grow its Central Board of Secondary Education exam prep business, and build its AI research and distribution capabilities.

Founded in 2022 by Ritesh Singh Chandel, Sonu Kumar, and Rushabh Kothari, Arivihan offers automated coaching through interactive video lectures, instant answers to questions, and AI-driven study plans for students preparing for state board exams, CBSE, and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.

It previously raised US$4.17 million from Prosus and Accel.

Its expansion comes as India’s K-12 education market continues growing, while coaching centers face closer scrutiny after the central government issued guidelines and states began stepping up regulation.
