Accel leads US marketing tech startup Fibr AI’s $7.5m seed round

Fibr AI, a San Francisco-based company, raised US$7.5 million in seed funding led by Accel, with WillowTree Ventures and MVP Ventures participating.

The company aims to develop an “Agentic Web” that enables websites to adapt in real time for both human visitors and AI systems.

Founded by Ankur Goyal and Pritam Roy, Fibr AI focuses on transforming high-traffic websites into context-aware experiences to improve engagement and revenue.

Current websites often operate on outdated infrastructure and do not respond dynamically to visitor intents, which can lead to lost opportunities.

🧠 Food for thought

Implications, context, and why it matters.

Fibr AI’s funding targets an expensive break in customer experience

  • Fibr AI goes after a common issue in finance and healthcare where busy websites do not adjust in real time to each visitor’s goal.
  • The U.S. healthcare system spends about $350 billion a year on administrative work, with billions potentially saved through stronger automation 1.
  • Patients feel the drag. One study found 73.2% of insured adults delayed or skipped care because of administrative hurdles 2.
  • Fibr AI’s LinkedIn profile says early enterprise rollouts in banking, financial services, and healthcare delivered about 20%+ conversion uplift in the first quarter 3.

AI agents raise the stakes for winning customers

  • Fibr AI says it serves “AI systems,” tracking the move toward “agentic commerce,” where AI agents, software that can act for a user, shop, recommend, and complete purchases 4.
  • This shift squeezes brand-led marketing. AI agents lean on hard numbers such as interest rates, fees, and product features 4.
  • Marketing groups may move from Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) so data stays structured for AI to pull and use 4.
  • A winner-takes-most pattern can follow. Companies that do not tune digital platforms for AI-native automation risk becoming obsolete 5.
