Accel leads $8m series A for robotics cooking startup Posha

Posha, a robotics startup focused on countertop cooking devices, has raised US$8 million in a series A round led by Accel. Other investors include Xeed Ventures, Waterbridge Ventures, and Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal.

The product lets users select recipes and add ingredients while the machine handles the cooking. Users still need to shop and prep ingredients like chopping.

The funding will be used to expand recipe options and add generative AI, which will suggest recipes and convert them into cooking instructions.

Founded by Raghav Gupta, Posha started with robotic arms but shifted to countertop devices based on user feedback. The product is aimed at people who cook often and want to save time in the kitchen.
