Accel leads $65m round for Israeli AI cybersecurity startup Vega
Vega, an Israeli cybersecurity startup, has raised US$65 million in seed and series A funding, with the company valued at US$400 million.
The round was led by Accel, with participation from Redpoint, Cyberstarts, and CRV.
Founded in 2024 by former Intel’s Granulate employees Shay Sandler and Eli Rozen, Vega develops an AI-native security analytics and investigation platform for enterprises.
The company employs about 60 people in Tel Aviv and New York.
Vega’s platform analyzes security data directly at its source, rather than requiring centralization, and offers AI-assisted workflows for investigations.
It targets traditional security information and event management (SIEM) systems that often struggle with large data volumes.
