Accel joins $13.5m round for Indian web3 gaming firm KGeN

KGeN, a Bangalore-based company developing a verified distribution protocol for AI, DeFi, and gaming, has raised US$13.5 million in a new strategic round with participation from Jump Crypto, Accel, and Prosus Ventures.

This brings KGeN’s total funding to US$43.5 million since its previous rounds in January 2023 and November 2024.

The company said it is scaling its protocol, commerce stack, and loyalty infrastructure in over 60 countries, and reported a network of 38.9 million protocol users, 6.1 million monthly active users, and 780,000 daily active users.

KGeN claims annualized revenue has reached US$48.3 million and has established more than 200 revenue partnerships.

The firm’s technology stack includes POGE, a privacy-focused identity and reputation framework.
